1. Install Theme (Sensei S version 1.1.0 or Sensei S2 version 2.5.3)

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For information in regard to installing the WordPress platform, please see the WordPress Codex When you are ready to install a theme, you must first upload the theme files and then activate the theme itself.


2. Activate Sensei S or Sensei S2

Once the theme is uploaded, you need to activate it. Go to Appearance › Themes and activate your chosen theme. This theme comes bundled with many plugins. Some are required and some are optional.

Contact Form 7 - Used for contact form (Required)

SEO Yoast - Used for SEO, title, description, sitemap and more (Required)

WPML - Used for translate (Optional)

3. Create your static pages

Go to Pages › Add New

4. Change settings default

1. Go to Settings › Reading

2. Click A static page

3. Select Front Page: Home

4. Select Posts Page: Blog

5. Insert your contents

1. Go to Pages › Home

2. Add title <H1>, title <H2>, one or two button link (Optional)

3. Add your Featured Image (1920x1200px) and save

4. Repeat this step and insert your contents of the other pages (do not use <H1> on other pages)

Default template - Default content template with a right sidebar

About template - Optional template with a two columns

7. Navigation

Sensei S has a built-in multi column menu system. Menus are created using the core WordPress Menu manager. These images shows how you should structure your menus.

9. Customizing

1. Go to Appareance › Customize › Site Identity

2. Add your logo (Required 210x80px)

3. Edit Site Title and Tagline

4. Add your Site Icon (favicon .png or .ico - 512x512px)

10. Insert image in page content

1. Go to Appareance › Customize › Header Image

2. Add new image (1920x1200px) and save

1. Go to Appareance › Customize › Additional CSS

2. You can add your own CSS here (skills required)
